NEW YORK, Oct. 26 (UPI) — Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds recently celebrated the Deadpool star’s 40th birthday at the restaurant where the two fell in love. The actress shared pics of the celebration on Instagram.
In a photo posted on Tuesday, Lively and Reynolds are hugging while surrounded by party decor at New York’s O Ya restaurant.
“@_o_ya_ We fell in love at your restaurant in Boston. We stay in love at your restaurant in NY. Thank you for the BEST food and memories! You are our FAVORITE!!” Lively captioned the pic. “Another happy birthday with @vancityreynolds. Hey, Reynolds, I like you a whole lot. Just sayin’…”
Reynolds also posted a photo from his birthday celebration.
“Best. Birthday. Everrrrr. Courtesy of my wife, buddy, and international spy, @blakelively,” Reynolds wrote. “With huge thanks to my favorite restaurant in NYC, @_o_ya_ — and a special shout out to our children for not ruining everything like they planned.”
Reynolds is reprising his role as foul-mouthed reluctant superhero Deadpool in the sequel to this year’s blockbuster film. Deadpool 2 is set to premiere in March 2, 2018.
