BOSTON, Feb. 11 (UPI) — New England Patriots cornerback Brandon Browner ripped Kanye West on Twitter for his stunts at awards shows when Beyonce doesn’t win.
Many people thought West was joking when he jumped up on stage at the Grammys, mimicking his interruption of Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV VMAs.
Spectators realized they underestimated West’s seriousness and admiration for Beyonce when he doubled down after the awards, saying “Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyonce.”
Browner expressed his disapproval of West’s actions on social media.

He also suggested West pick on someone his own size.

The “Through the Wire” references West’s debut single, which he recorded with his jaw wired shut.
He did, however, have one point of agreement with the rapper.
