Brothers Chris and Liam Hemsworth prank each other on Instagram

WASHINGTON, Dec. 11 (UPI) — The Hemsworth brothers, Chris Hemsworth and Liam Hemsworth, took to Instagram to play jokes on each other this week.

Eldest sibling Chris, 32, started the social media war when he posted a selfie holding a defaced magazine cover of his younger bro. With nothing in the caption but a tag, the photo of Liam’s Men’s Health cover showed added marker scribbles which gave the Hunger Games actor oversized ears, spiked hair and a long beard.

In response to the prank, Liam Hemsworth, 25, posted a similar pic Thursday of his older brother’s recent Vanity Fair cover. Instead of spiked hair, he went a more traditional route, using a red marker to add a mane of curly hair, unibrow and goatee to his brother’s appearance.

“Really great cover bro!” he wrote alongside the photo, making sure to tag his Avengers actor sibling.

Last week, Chris Hemsworth detailed a memorable visit to a prison to do research for his upcoming film, Blackhat. Speaking with a television show host Friday, the In the Heart of the Sea actor said he was not only heckled but hit-on while he walked the halls of the prison.

“Yo, come spend some time in my cell, baby!” Hemsworth recalled of what some inmates said.
