SOFIA, Bulgaria, Dec. 11 (UPI) — Fans of a Bulgarian soccer team put on an elaborate display in celebration of the upcoming Star Wars film.
Video shows fans of FC CSKA Sofia in Bulgaria paying tribute to the soon to be released Star Wars: The Force Awakens during a game against Sozopol.
The display included the unfurling of a giant canvas painting of Star Wars villain Darth Vader while an entire section of fans donned paper Stormtrooper masks and performed the team’s chant to the tune of “Vader’s Theme.”
The celebration culminated in a massive pyrotechnics display, with fans waving sparklers throughout the section.
