MALIBU, Calif., June 15 (UPI) — Caitlyn Jenner still has love for ex-wife Kris Jenner.
The 65-year-old Olympic medalist shared her love for the 59-year-old reality star with her 2.5 million followers Friday on Twitter. The shout-out was favorited over 30,000 times.
“Reading the VF article reminded me of the love & good times Kris & I shared for so many years. Wouldn’t trade that time for anything!” she wrote.
Jenner and Kris Jenner were married 22 years before they separated in 2013, and finalized their divorce in March. The former couple have two daughters: 17-year-old Kylie and 19-year-old Kendall.
Jenner confirmed she is transgender in an interview with Diane Sawyer in April, and made her public debut as a woman on the July cover of Vanity Fair. Both she and Kris Jenner discussed the impact of her secret in the accompanying interview.
“He was married to me and he wasn’t who he wanted to be so he was miserable,” Kris Jenner said. “All I was doing was working very hard for my family so that we could all have a wonderful future, and he was [expletive]ed off.”
Jenner appeared on all 10 current seasons of E! reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and will share her journey on an upcoming docu-series scheduled to premiere July 26. Keeping Up with the Kardashians will return from mid-season break in the fall.
