WASHINGTON, Dec. 8 (UPI) — Canadian Commercial Corporation has been awarded a $147 million contract for the the Landing Gear Remanufacture 3 program by the U.S. Air Force.
Under the contract, Canadian Commercial Corporation will be tasked with remanufacturing landing gear required to return “F condition” assets to “A condition” supporting the C-130 Hercules transport aircraft, KC-135 Stratotanker refueling aircraft, and E-3 Sentry airborne warning and control system aircraft.
Work on the contract will be performed in Longueuil, Canada, and is expected to be complete by January 2021.
Canadian Commercial Corporation acts as Canada’s international procurement and contracting agency, and reports to Parliament through the Minister of International Trade. The corporation assists in government-to-government contract negotiations and executions.
