TORONTO, Dec. 24 (UPI) — A pop-up shop in Toronto is offering residents the opportunity to pawn off their unwanted Christmas gifts in exchange for Skittles.
The shop will be open from Dec. 26-30 and will offer Toronto residents over the age of 13 the opportunity to trade in various items for their estimated value in Skittles.
Those interested can have their items appraised on the Skittles Pawn website and then take their certificate to the shop to redeem their candy.
The shop will accept most items excluding garbage, guns and illegal items such as drugs. Any items found to be in good condition will be donated to the Goodwill ReUse Center in Scarborough, according to the website.
