ATLANTA, April 30 (UPI) — Consider it an ice cream happy hour. On April 30, from 3 to 8 p.m., Carvel is giving out free ice cream.
Customers will have the option to choose from a junior sized cup or cone of chocolate or vanilla. Fan-favortie flavor, Nutella, is back for a limited time and is also an eligible choice for the special deal.
The ice cream chain, known for it’s famous soft serve, is offering #freeconeday to support American Red Cross. Along with free ice cream the company will offer a $2 coupon book that has more than $20 in savings for guests to purchase.
“All proceeds from sales of the coupon books will go toward a $20,000 donation to support the organization’s disaster relief efforts. This year, Carvel will surpass $125,000 in total contributions to the American Red Cross since 2012.” the company said in a press release.
