LOS ANGELES, March 26 (UPI) — Cate Blanchett showed her playful side in a new interview this week.
The 45-year-old actress spoke to Jonathan Hyla of The Project, supposedly about new Disney film Cinderella. Blanchett and Hyla spent more time discussing alcohol, sex and cats on leashes in a conversation almost reminiscent of Zach Galifianakis on Between Two Ferns.
Many news outlets reported Blanchett “lost her cool” or “shut down” the interview, but Hyla shared the whole conversation on Twitter to show he and the actress were just having fun.

Blanchett portrays wicked stepmother Lady Tremaine alongside Lily James as Cinderella in the movie. The live-action adaptation of the traditional Charles Perrault fairytale opened in theaters March 13, and has earned over $256 million at the box office thus far.
