LOS ANGELES, Dec. 28 (UPI) — Chrissy Teigen is keeping a sense of humor about her pregnancy.
The 30-year-old model shared a new baby bump photo and joked about her changing body on social media over the weekend. The star and husband John Legend announced they are expecting their first child in October.
Teigen sported a nautical-inspired swimsuit in the picture, which she captioned, “Not vogue thailand” with the tears of laughter emoji. She and Legend revealed they are expecting a daughter upon the release of her pre-bump Vogue Thailand cover last week.
The model joked about other changes the next day, tweeting, “Well well well, it’s almost like my new skin tag heard me making fun of the skin tag commercial I saw last week.” Skin tags commonly occur in women as they gain weight during pregnancy.
“I think she gets a little self-conscious,” Legend told Us Weekly this month. “You know it’s weird when you’re used to looking a certain way, and then all of a sudden you have this new thing growing inside you that changes the way you look. It affects everybody.”
Teigen and Legend met on the set of the singer’s “Stereo” music video in 2007, and married in September 2013. The model dedicated a sweet post to her husband Monday on Instagram to celebrate his 37th birthday.
“Another year with you has flown by and I am so proud of what you’ve accomplished,” she wrote. “Every year, I wonder how things can get even better but you always find a way. Happy 37th birthday to the most wonderful, hard-working, loving being I, and anyone who has ever met you, have ever known.”
