NEW YORK, Sept. 16 (UPI) — Model Christie Brinkley and musician John Mellencamp were spotted enjoying dinner together Monday, sparking romance rumors in the process.
The pair met for a meal at the Bowery Hotel in New York City where photographers captured the outing and a smiling Brinkley.
The 61-year-old supermodel was seen wearing denim jeans, sneakers and a yellow jacket while the 63-year-old rock star wore ripped jeans with a peacoat and boots.
Last year in October, Mellencamp was reportedly back together with his on-again, off-again girlfriend, actress Meg Ryan. Mellencamp praised the You’ve Got Mail star on NBC’s Today show saying how she was “an angel sent to me, and I’m very happy.”
He also added, “nothing’s over ’till it’s over.”
In August, Brinkley’s youngest daughter, Sailor Brinkley Cook recently modeled for Seventeen magazine following in the footsteps of her mother.
