Courtney Love tweets ‘I’m safer in Baghdad’ after Uber car gets attacked in Paris

PARIS, June 25 (UPI) — Courtney Love was attacked by Uber protestors in Paris on Thursday and shared her experience on Twitter.

The 50-year-old singer was riding with an Uber driver and witnessed how violent the taxi driver protests against the ride-hailing company really were.

Love first posted a photograph of the smashed driver’s seat window and wrote: “Dude @kanyewest we may turn back to the airport and hide out with u.picketers just attacked our car #ParisUberStrike”

She continued describing the scene on Twitter, and even called out President François Hollande to do something about the violent acts.

According to BBC, the protesting drivers have blocked off roads to get to major airports and have prompted riot police to fire tear gas.
