Craig Sager’s cancer has returned, announces his son

NEW YORK, March 30 (UPI) — Craig Sager Jr. announced on Twitter Sunday that his father’s leukemia has returned and the NBA broadcaster is back in treatment.

The announcement comes just weeks after Sager triumphantly returned to the sidelines following treatment for his original occurrence of the disease.

Sager is also battling the flu, which is his main priority, but will also go back into chemotherapy treatments and prepare for a bone marrow transplant.
