CRESSON, Pa., Sept. 22 (UPI) — A Pennsylvania boy celebrating his second birthday had some trouble blowing out his candle until his dad helped him out with an ingenious breath-hack.
Ashleigh Williamson posted a video to YouTube showing her son, Marty, celebrating his second birthday with a candle-topped cupcake.
Marty insists on having the candle lit and is prevented from attempting to blow it out before his parents sing him the birthday song. He attempts to blow out the candle at the end of the song, but has trouble controlling his breath.
The toddler continues having candle troubles despite some coaching from his parents. The boy’s father, Jason, has a moment of inspiration and retrieves a straw.
The dad has Marty blow through the straw, successfully extinguishing the candle.
