LONDON, July 10 (UPI) — David Beckham may not have come to play, but he stole the show at Wimbledon.
The soccer player was enjoying the match from the stands on Thursday when he caught the tennis ball mid-game.
During the men’s double final game at Center Court, where Jamie Murray and John Peers played against Jonathan Erlich and Philipp Petzschner, the ball flew out of bounds and toward Beckham’s seat.
Wimbledon shared the incident on it’s Twitter page, writing, “Can we have our ball back please…?”
