LOS ANGELES, Nov. 26 (UPI) — Disney has released a new 90-second teaser for its upcoming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story standalone movie.
Directed by Gareth Edwards, the latest installment in the space epic focuses on the adventures of Felicity Jones’ Jyn Erso and Diego Luna’s Cassian Andor. The ensemble also includes Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk and Forest Whitaker.
The movie is set for theatrical release Dec. 16. It takes place some time after the events of Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith and before Star Wars: Episode IV — A New Hope.
Friday’s clip featured new characters Jyn and Cassian, as well as franchise icon Darth Vader and his space station the Death Star.
