NEW YORK CITY, N.Y., April 14 (UPI) — Dennis Quaid loses it in an on-camera meltdown that has gone viral — but some people think it could be a hoax.
In video that surfaced Tuesday, the 61-year-old actor slings expletives and insults at a crew member who walks onto the set.
“Don’t f***ing ‘Dennis’ me,” Quaid shouts.
“I am doing my job here! I am a pro,” he says. “This is the most unprofessional set I have ever been on. This is horse sh**. I have these f**ing zombies over here that I have to look at. … This is garbage! Blow me!”
Viewers were quick to point out that Quaid’s video could be a prank or a publicity stunt, potentially organized by fake viral video fan Jimmy Kimmel.
The video is also reminiscent of Christian Bale’s 2009 tantrum on the set of Terminator Salvation.
Quaid stepped out Tuesday after a promotional event for a new scripted drama, but he ignored TMZ’s questions about the video.
He has also recently finished filming Truth, about retired news anchor Dan Rather.
