Kinshasa (AFP) – Authorities in the Democratic Republic of Congo have banned a planned demonstration Sunday against President Joseph Kabila in the capital Kinshasa, according to a letter sent to organisers.
Governor Andre Kimbuta said in the letter sent on Saturday to the Lay Coordination Committee that without an agreed route, the city authorities “cannot guarantee proper supervision”.
