LOS ANGELES, March 16 (UPI) — Elizabeth Olsen stars in a new poster for Avengers: Age of Ultron.
The 26-year-old actress conjures a hex as Marvel superhero Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch, in the image. Aaron Taylor-Johnson portrays the character’s twin brother, Pietro Maximoff, aka Quicksilver, in his own poster.
In the comics, Wanda and Pietro Maximoff are the mutant children of Magneto and his wife, Magda. Scarlet Witch is able to manipulate probability with hexes, and chaos magic in later issues, while Quicksilver is able to move and think at superhuman speeds.
Marvel also released a poster of James Spader as titular supervillain Ultron. The character was built by Hank Pym, aka the original Ant-Man, in the comics, and creates Vision in turn to destroy the Avengers. Paul Bettany will play Vision in the film.

Avengers: Age of Ultron opens in theaters May 1, with Robert Downey, Jr. as Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Chris Evans as Captain America, among others. The movie is directed by Joss Whedon, and was preceded by The Avengers (2012).
