LOS ANGELES, May 12 (UPI) — Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, also known as the “Mother of Dragons”, revealed that Jay Z and Beyonce own a prop from Game of Thrones.
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the June/July cover star told the magazine she once tried to “bag” one of the dragon eggs and was unsuccessful. “Apparently Jay Z bought one for Beyoncé, or something,” she said.
The actress added, “they are really, really, really expensive and they are really [expletive] heavy and serious works of art.”
Clarke said Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum are also big fans of the hit HBO series and even use nicknames from the show to address one another.
“I was at a Golden Globes after-party and Channing [expletive] Tatum came up to me, and his stunning missus, Jenna. And they said, ‘We call each other “moon of my life” and “my sun and stars” and all that.’ And I was like, ‘I cannot contain this. Please, can we all have something sexual together? You’re both beautiful, even just a hug,’” she told Bazaar.
She also revealed that the mega-popular show opened “a lot of doors” for her. Clarke stars as Sarah Connor in Terminator: Genisys, alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger. The movie opens in theaters July 1.
