SAN DIEGO, July 14 (UPI) — Emma Roberts and Lea Michele recently buddied up at San Diego Comic-Con.
The 24-year-old actress and 28-year-old former Glee star spent quality time together at the Scream Queens panel and other convention events, including the unveiling of the show’s drop-tower theme ride.
Roberts and Michele posted photos from the weekend on Instagram, with the former declaring, “Had so much fun at #ComiCon 2015 this weekend @msleamichele! Thank you guys for all the #ScreamQueens love cannot wait for you all to see the show!!”
The actresses also shared their love for co-star Jamie Lee Curtis in the Scream Queens press room, where series creator Ryan Murphy revealed the upcoming Fox show is an homage to the 56-year-old Halloween actress.
“She’s amazing,” Roberts told People of Curtis. “She brought us gifts, all these little parasols, and she brought me some books.” Michele added. “She’s the main structure that just keeps everything together. She’s like our protector, and I really love that.”
Scream Queens stars Roberts as sorority president Chanel Oberlin, with Michele as new rush Hester “Neckbrace” and Curtis as Dean Cathy Munsch. The horror-comedy series also stars Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer and Ariana Grande, and will premiere Sept. 22 at 9 p.m. ET.
