LOS ANGELES, Sept. 8 (UPI) — Empire co-stars Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard were among the first presenters announced Tuesday for the upcoming Emmy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles.
Also tapped to help hand out statuettes are Maggie Gyllenhaal, Amy Poehler, Jimmy Kimmel and LL Cool J.
The prize presentation honoring the year’s best in television is to take place Sept. 20, with comic actor Andy Samberg serving as host.
The star-studded event will air live on FOX from the Microsoft Theater.
