Euro 2016 – Poland-Switzerland 1-1 after 90min, into extra time

Saint-Étienne (France) (AFP) – Switzerland and Poland will play extra time in their last 16 match at Euro 2016 on Saturday with the score tied at 1-1 after 90 minutes.

Winger Jakub Blaszczykowski gave Poland a deserved 1-0 lead in the first half before Xherdan Shaqiri’s spectacular scissors kick brought the Swiss level in Saint-Etienne in the 82nd minute.

The winners will play either Croatia or Portugal in a quarter-final in Marseille on Thursday.
