Fantasy Football: Minnesota Vikings rule OUT Stefon Diggs
UPI

MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 9 (UPI) — If Stefon Diggs is currently in your fantasy football lineup, remove him now.

Diggs is not playing Sunday, after the Minnesota Vikings ruled him inactive for a 1 p.m. contest against the Houston Texans at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Diggs ranks No. 5 in the NFL with 372 receiving yards this season. He has 25 receptions and a touchdown on the season. He has been dealing with a lingering groin injury for the last few weeks. Before the injury, Diggs looked primed for a big season as a high-end WR2. He did not practice this week and was listed as doubtful for Week 5.

I expect the Vikings to sit Diggs until after its Week 6 bye. When healthy, Diggs should provide consistent WR2 value. Diggs first showed up on the injury report after his nine catch, 182-yard, and one touchdown performance in Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers. Since that game, he has nine receptions and 87 receiving yards. For other options at wide receiver, look at my add/drops for the week.
