CHICAGO, Dec. 29 (UPI) — A Chicago man who noticed a particularly portly squirrel while taking out the trash captured footage of the rotund rodent failing to jump onto a tree branch.
The video, posted to YouTube by Mr. Walrus, follows the stout squirrel as it climbs a fence and takes a flying leap to a nearby tree branch.
The tree branch proves insufficient to support the creature, and the squirrel plunges toward the ground.
“I can’t believe I recorded this failed jump. I have never seen a squirrel miss in my entire life,” the uploader wrote.
