Philadelphia (AFP) – Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen said Monday the dismal US jobs report for May was “concerning” but stressed she was still “positive” on the outlook for economic growth.
In a speech, Yellen highlighted a number of uncertainties facing the US economy and backed away from specific forecasts for interest rate increases, only saying they should come “gradually”.
