CHIBA, Japan, May 3 (UPI) — Flights were delayed in Japan after American pop star Taylor Swift’s plane landed and fans flooded Narita Airport in Chiba to catch a glimpse of her.
TMZ said at least two arrivals were delayed due to airport congestion. Traffic around the airport was also reportedly heavy because of the star’s presence.
The 25-year-old singer-songwriter is in the region to kick off her 1989 world concert tour. Her first show is set for Tuesday in Tokyo.
