LOS ANGELES, March 31 (UPI) — The soap opera General Hospital led the field with 28 nods, including one for Outstanding Drama, when the 42nd annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations were announced Tuesday.
The Young and the Restless was close behind with 25 mentions, while The Bold and the Beautiful earned 19 nominations, Days of Our Lives scored 16, Sesame Street racked up 13 and The Ellen DeGeneres Show garnered 10.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony to be broadcast on Pop on April 26.
