NEW YORK, Sept. 30 (UPI) — George Clooney said his and wife Amal Clooney’s first wedding anniversary was “beautiful,” although the actor did not go into details.
The Tomorrowland actor told E! News while attending the New York Film Festival he and Amal “sure are having fun.”
“We had a beautiful anniversary,” the 54-year-old actor said. “And we’re having fun.”
Clooney’s first year of marriage has gone smoothly in terms of his and his wife’s known endeavors such as attending premiers, going on family outings, and vacationing with the likes of Cindy Crawford. When asked what he has learned from his partnership with Amal, Clooney said he isn’t particularly allowed to divulge that information.
“That’s a good question, but I can’t officially tell you any of those things because that would be wrong,” he told the outlet. He joked his human rights lawyer spouse “would be upset that I told anyone what I’ve learned.”
Clooney married the British-Lebansese lawyer Amal Alamuddin on Sept. 27, 2014 in Venice, Italy. The ceremony, which took place at the Aman Canal Grande Hotel, was officiated by the former mayor of Rome.
