SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Madison Bumgarner of the San Francisco Giants has not allowed a baserunner through seven innings against the San Diego Padres.
The Giants are leading 8-0 Saturday night.
Last year’s World Series MVP has thrown 85 pitches, 58 for strikes. He has struck out eight.
Matt Kemp has hit the ball hard twice, and Angel Pagan ran down a ball in right-center field on a long fly by Justin Upton to open the fifth.
