CAPE TOWN, South Africa, Oct. 19 (UPI) — An Australian woman cage diving in South Africa captured footage of great white sharks grabbing bait and ramming the cage.
Melissa Naomi, who posted the video to YouTube under the username AussieBlondeAbroad, captured the footage while diving with an Ecoadventures team off the coast of Cape Town, South Africa.
The video shows the sharks as seen from above the surface of the water before the divers go down in a cage.
Two sharks grab bait lowered by the diving team and ram into the divers’ cage head first.
“Such an incredible indescribable and beautiful experience!” Naomi said in an Instagram post.
