Greinke dominates, hits go-ahead HR as Dodgers beat Reds 2-1

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Zack Greinke lowered his major league-leading ERA to 1.58 with seven sharp innings and drove in the go-ahead run with his second homer of the season, leading the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 2-1 victory over the Cincinnati Reds on Sunday.

Greinke (13-2) allowed a run on six hits, struck out eight and walked one. The right-hander is 8-0 with a 1.16 ERA over his last 11 starts.

Joc Pederson and Greinke hit back-to-back home runs in the bottom of the fourth.

Kenley Jansen got four outs for his 24th save in 25 chances and 130th of his career, just hours after becoming a father for the second time. Jansen passed Jeff Shaw for second on the Dodgers’ all-time saves list behind Eric Gagne (161).

Reds rookie Anthony DeSclafani (7-8) allowed two runs and six hits in six innings and struck out six.
