SAN DIEGO, July 10 (UPI) — Harry Styles took a tumble Thursday night during a One Direction concert in San Diego, Calif.
While the band was singing “Through the Dark,” the 21-year-old singer grabbed his mic and moved across the stage when he slipped and fell in the middle of the performance.
At first, he tried to break his fall by holding on to the mic stand, but ultimately he fell to the ground.
Styles handled the embarrassing incident like a professional; he looked at the audience, laughed and got back up to continue singing. One of the other band members caught sight of Styles’ fall and snickered in the background.
The crowd at Qualcomm Stadium let out a roar of screams and laughter at the sight of a fallen Styles and one fan captured the moment on video.
The Twitterverse reacted to the heartthrob’s fall by dedicating hashtag, #OhNoHarry.
Dear diary,
I fell on stage today.
Physically I’m okay, emotionally I’m bruised.
All the love .x H
