TOPANGA, Calif., April 29 (UPI) — Heart frontwoman Ann Wilson married Dean Wetter Saturday in Topanga, Calif.
The 64-year-old singer and musician tied the knot in front of an “intimate” gathering of family and friends n the backyard of Wilson’s manager, Carol Peters, People reported.
Wilson told the magazine that she first met Wetter in the 1980s, when they “both got smashed” and she unsuccessfully “tried to seduce him.”
Wilson said they reunited years later.
“Congratulations to the newlyweds! Love rules!!!” read a statement on the band’s official Facebook page.
Wilson and her sister, Nancy, found mainstream success with Heart in the late ’70s and late ’80s. The band is best known for songs like “Magic Man,” “Barracuda” and “These Dreams.”
