LOS ANGELES, May 13 (UPI) — Holly Madison has released a statement responding to a string of NSFW tweets from former Girls Next Door co-star, Kendra Wilkinson.

The 36-year-old mother-to-be and author submitted the response to Us Weekly, mentioning her book The Vegas Diaries which she said was “about letting go and moving on. About resolving the past so you can live a future.”

“I’ve dealt with my demons and I’ve come out ahead. I can hold my head high and work hard to be the classy and kind person I aspire to be,” she wrote. “I want no part of a one-sided argument or feud where one woman lives to demoralize and degrade another woman. For those unresolved issues, therapy works. You should try it.”

Madison’s statement comes after Wilkinson — once a fellow girlfriend to Hugh Hefner alongside Madison — reacted to a television interview in anger, describing in detail the more raunchy side of their sexual relationship with the Playboy founder.

“Now Holly is on cover of People mag sayin she lived in fear at the mansion,” Wilkinson wrote Thursday in a brief string of now-deleted tweets. “She wasn’t in fear with that [expletive] in her [expletive] for a paycheck. That [expletive] is in fear now knowing so many of us saw her doing some nasty [expletive].”

Madison and Wilkinson were housemates at the Playboy Mansion between 2004 and 2008 before Wilkinson moved out to marry Hank Baskett.

After deleting the tweets and apologizing to her followers, Wilkinson told Us Weekly she felt she had to “stick up” for Hefner. “I saw her everyday with Hef and what is being told is not what I saw,” she sad. “It just makes me mad that she wants to move on but she keeps writing stuff about the mansion. … I’m going to fight for Hef. That’s my job. … He’s done nothing wrong. … She lived at the Playboy Mansion, people, not a church.
