LOS ANGELES, April 30 (UPI) — Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda attended the premiere of their new Netflix comedy series Grace and Frankie at the Regal LA Live in Los Angeles Wednesday night.
The former 9 to 5 co-stars are now playing women forced to reinvent their lives after their husbands announce they’re leaving them for each other. Sam Waterston and Martin Sheen play the women’s estranged spouses, longtime law partners who intend to wed.
Fonda and Waterston previously shared the screen in the series The Newsroom, while Tomlin appeared on Sheen’s political drama The West Wing.
All episodes of Season 1 of Grace and Frankie will be available via the streaming service May 8.
