LOS ANGELES, Oct. 29 (UPI) — Comic actress Jane Lynch is to host the People’s Choice Awards on Jan. 6.
“As a people myself, I’m thrilled to take on hosting duties of the only awards show that celebrates the choice of the people!” Lynch said in a statement.
The prize presentation honoring fan favorites in digital, film, music and television is to air on CBS, live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
Lynch, 55, is best known for her work on TV’s Glee and in writer-director-actor Christopher Guest’s big-screen mockumentaries Best in Show, A Mighty Wind and For Your Consideration. She will soon be seen in the new sitcom Angel From Hell.
