AUBURN, Ala., April 1 (UPI) — Jason Dufner and Amanda Dufner are headed for divorce.
The 38-year-old professional golfer and his wife were together for over five years, and married in May 2012. The former couple separated in February, according to documents obtained by GolfChannel.com.
Amanda Dufner filed settlement papers in March, citing an “irretrievable breakdown of the marriage” and a “complete incompatibility of temperament that the parties can no longer live together.”
Amanda Dufner will receive a gross sum of $2.5 million, while the PGA Tour pro will retain ownership of two homes in Auburn, Ala. A Jefferson County judge is expected to make a final ruling on the divorce this month.
