LOS ANGELES, April 3 (UPI) — Jason Mewes and wife Jordan Monsanto welcomed their first child on Wednesday.
The 40-year-old actor announced the news with a photo of the infant Thursday on Twitter, writing, “Yo snootch to the NOOTCH world ‘I’m LOGAN LEE Mewes’ daddy’s little girl!! Snikt, Snikt !!”
Jay and Silent Bob co-star Kevin Smith followed up with a picture of the family Friday, and captioned the snapshot, “Should I call you LOGAN, Weapon X? @JordanMonsanto, @JayMewes & their brand new, mint-out-of-the-box baby girl, Logan!”
Mewes and Monsanto married in January 2009. The actor is best known for portraying Jay in several Kevin Smith films, including Clerks and Mallrats, and is expected to return for Clerks III. He and Smith will also collaborate on Yoga Hosers with Johnny Depp.
