ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 28 (UPI) — Jessa Duggar shared her excitement over her forthcoming TLC specials with fans Saturday.
The 22-year-old former 19 Kids & Counting star said she is “looking forward” to her return to television at the Southern Women’s Show in Orlando, Fla. The network announced last week Duggar and her sister, Jill Duggar, will partake in new TV specials.
“We’re going to be doing some filming preparing to welcome this little one into our lives,” she revealed, confirming one of the specials will focus on herself and husband Ben Seewald as they prepare to welcome their first child. “It’s gonna be great.”
Another special is expected to follow Jill Duggar, her husband, Derick Dillard, and their son Israel as they embark on a mission trip to El Salvador. The 24-year-old is the second-eldest Duggar daughter, and recently became a midwife after returning home from the assignment.
“We are looking forward to reconnecting with everyone with the new specials on TLC,” Jill Duggar wrote on Instagram. “Many have asked about our mission work and about the challenges of taking our family to a different country, culture and learning a new language. We appreciate your prayers.”
Duggar and her family came to fame on 19 Kids & Counting, which was canceled following eldest sibling Josh Duggar’s molestation scandal. She and Jill Duggar subsequently appeared on the special Breaking the Silence, which addressed the abuse.
