MEMPHIS, March 14 (UPI) — Reality television personality Jessa Duggar says she is loving married life with Ben Seewald, her husband of four months.
Duggar, 22, is part of her family’s docuseries 19 Kids & Counting. In keeping with her religious upbringing, she and Seewald had a chaste courtship and experienced their first kiss on their wedding day.
Us Weekly said Duggar recently gave an interview to Memphis’ FM 100 where she discussed life as a new wife.
“We’re definitely in love, and well on our way in this newlywed life,” she told the radio program. “And we’re just loving it.”
Referring to how she and Seewald were always accompanied by chaperones when they dated, Duggar quipped, “I think we’re past the side hugs.”
She also said she and her husband can’t wait to have kids of their own, but she insisted she is not pregnant.
“We’re looking forward to starting a family, but we don’t have any news to say yet,” she said. “We’re looking forward to kids and also adoption is something we’re really praying about… You have to be married for two years before you can adopt.”
