SPRINGDALE, Ark., Nov. 6 (UPI) — Jessa Duggar Seewald’s publicist confirmed the reality TV personality and her husband Ben Seewald have welcomed their first child, a son.
People magazine reported the news Thursday night and ET confirmed the news with updates from the proud grandparents.
Duggar Seewald was due to give birth last Sunday. She married Ben Seewald in November 2014 and the couple announced in April they were expecting their first child. They did not reveal the baby’s gender before he was born.
Duggar Seewald and her devoutly Christian family starred in the popular docu-series 19 Kids & Counting, which was canceled this year after the public became aware that her older brother Josh Duggar had molested her and other young female relatives a decade ago when he was a teen. He later confessed to cheating on his wife Anna with several women, as well.
Duggar Seewald and her sister Jill will star in their own series of TLC specials under the title Counting On.
