LOS ANGELES, May 29 (UPI) — Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart star in a red-band {i:American Ultra} trailer.
The 31-year-old actor portrays Mike Howell, a stoner convenience clerk unaware he is also a deadly sleeper agent. The character and his girlfriend (Kristen Stewart) must go on the run after he is activated and the government orders his termination.
{i:American Ultra} is directed by Nima Nourizadeh ({i:Project X}), and co-stars Connie Britton ({i:This is Where I Leave You}) as the agent who activates Mike. Topher Grace, John Leguizamo and Bill Pullman also have roles.
Eisenberg and Stewart previously collaborated on Greg Mottola comedy {i:Adventureland} (2009). The actor is best known for {i:The Social Network}, and will portray Lex Luthor in {i:Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice}.
Stewart came to fame in the {i:Twilight} series of films, and last appeared in {i:Still Alice} with Julianne Moore.
