LOS ANGELES, June 2 (UPI) — Soon after Caitlyn Jenner made her Vanity Fair debut on Monday, Twitter users began to note her stunning resemblance to Jessica Lange — so much so that the 66-year-old actress began trending on Twitter.
“Tell me that @Caitlyn_Jenner does not look exactly like Jessica Lange. #mindblown,” wrote one commenter.
Lange, who just happened to be doing an interview with the Daily Beast, was asked about the comparisons.
“Oh really?” she said. “That’s so wonderful. Well now I’m going to have to look for that picture.”
But Lange needed more explanation about what it means to be “trending.”
“What does that mean?” Lange asked. “Trending on Twitter because Caitlyn Jenner on the cover — you see I don’t do any of this stuff, the Internet. So I have no clue when people use this terminology. I have to repeat it to understand.”
Jenner was also compared to Geena Davis, Janice Dickinson and Brooke Shields.
