NEW YORK, Oct. 17 (UPI) — Joe Jonas doesn’t regret naming ex-girlfriend Ashley Greene as his first sexual partner.
The 27-year-old DNCE singer insisted in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that he was just trying to be honest when he revealed he lost his virginity to the 29-year-old actress in a Reddit AMA last week.
“I don’t know. I think life’s too short, you know? I mean, ultimately, I think of myself as an honest guy. I think there’s those moments in your life where you have to be true to yourself and true to the world,” Jonas explained.
“I’m not out to, like, hurt anybody. I think, ultimately, I’m just telling my stories and what I can say from my heart,” he added.
Jonas, who dated Greene from 2010 to 2011, named the actress in the Reddit AMA and offered other details about the experience. Some were surprised the star called out Greene, with one person writing, “Did not think you’d answer that question.”
“I lost my virginity to this girl named Ashley. You can probably just Google it. It’s pretty easy to figure out. I dated a girl named Ashley, so just Google it to figure out which Ashley that is,” Jonas had said.
Greene appeared to respond the same day as the AMA by posting “class is timeless” on Instagram. The actress is known for playing Alice Cullen in the Twilight movies and presently portrays Mia on Rogue.
