LOS ANGELES, May 25 (UPI) — John Stamos says he is “heartbroken” his former {i:Full House} co-stars Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen won’t be appearing in Netflix’s upcoming sitcom sequel {i:Fuller House}.
“#heartbroken,” Stamos tweeted Friday night. “I understand they’re in a different place and I wish them the best. I promise you will not be dissapointed with our reunion and spin off!!”
The Olsen twins — who are now 28 — interchangeably played the Tanner family’s youngest member, Michelle, on {i:Full House} from 1987 until the show ended in 1995.
Set to premiere next year, {i:Fuller House} will feature many of the original show’s cast members including Stamos, Dave Coulier, Candace Cameron-Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber.
