LOS ANGELES, April 4 (UPI) — Canadian singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell remains hospitalized, but her condition is improving, her website said.
The 71-year-old, folk-music icon was discovered unconscious in her Los Angeles home Tuesday. The reason for her medical emergency has not yet been disclosed.
“Joni remains under observation in the hospital and is resting comfortably,” her website said Friday. “We are encouraged by her progress and she continues to improve and get stronger each day.”
A website has been created to aggregate Facebook and Twitter messages so Mitchell can see all the well wishes people are sending her.
