STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Sept. 8 (UPI) — A viral video that appears to have been filmed in Sweden shows “how to tow the car” in a way that probably would not meet the approval of traffic police.
The video, filmed with a GoPro camera and uploaded to YouTube by user Team WildestOfWest, shows a car being towed by another vehicle via what appears to be a long strip of ratchet strap.
The towing begins with tame footage of the car, which has two people inside, being pulled in a straight line, but it soon starts whipping around corners with doors flying open and sparks being left on the road.
The car, which is missing a rear tire, whips back and forth across the road, but somehow manages to avoid hitting signs and other roadside objects.
Commenters on Reddit said the video appears to have been filmed in Sweden.
The video’s description indicates the car’s owners wanted to give it a final farewell before leaving it at a scrapyard.
