LOS ANGELES, June 21 (UPI) — The dinosaur-themed blockbuster Jurassic World is the No. 1 movie in North America for a second weekend, hauling in a staggering $102 million, Rentrak announced.
The picture earned nearly $205 million in the United States and Canada when it was released last weekend.
Coming in close behind for the period of June 19-21 is the animated adventure Inside Out with $91 million, followed by Spy at No. 3 with $10. 5 million, San Andreas at No. 4 with $8.2 million and Dope at No. 5 with $6 million.
Rounding out the top tier are Insidious Chapter 3 at No. 6 with $4.1 million, Pitch Perfect 2 at No. 7 with $3.3 million, Mad Max: Fury Road at No. 8 with $2.8 million, Avengers: Age of Ultron at No. 9 with $2.7 million and Tomorrowland at No. 10 with $2 million.
