LOS ANGELES, Oct. 16 (UPI) — The viral video of a drunk University of Connecticut student demanding mac & cheese inspired Justin Theroux.
The actor apparently had to completely submerse himself in his craft in order to convey a deeply conflicted individual.
“I was interested in the character, and I wanted to explore that,” Theroux told Jimmy Kimmel on Thursday night’s episode of Jimmey Kimmel Live.
The results of his hard work were nothing less than hilarious.
Theroux shared laughs with the talk show host as he debuted his spoof trailer for Mad Mac, where he played the UCONN student who was taken into custody after his drunken episode.
According to Entertainment Weekly, The Leftovers star brought the trailer to life with the help of Kimmel and funny man David Koechner.
The student has since apologized for the incident.
“That might be our sequel,” Theroux joked.
